Promoted Gangsta Rap to Fill Prisons
From: Hip Hop Is Read
I received this letter from Sebastien Elkouby, a self-professed Hip Hop Culture historian, publicist, and educator. He runs the educational program Global Awareness through Hip Hop Culture and P.R. company S&H Public Relations. The plot thickens...
Fringe Knowledge for Beginners
The last half of my life has been spent in the active pursuit of truth. In the following pages I sketch the broadest map of what I have learned in the fewest words possible.
You will not find proof between the covers of this book, rather ideas and principles that give you
understanding and perspective on proof existing all around and within you.
The more you investigate these ideas for yourself, the more intelligently you can judge the accuracy of my map.
If ignorance is bliss, why seek truth? Because permanent freedom is far more valuable...
The Handbook of Human Ownership
A Manual for New Tax Farmers

Hey - seriously - congratulations on your new political post!
If you are reading this, it means that you have ascended to the highest levels of government, so it's really, really important that you don't do or say anything stupid, and screw things up for the rest of us.
The first thing to remember is that you are a figurehead, about as relevant to the direction of the state as a hood ornament is to the direction of a car - but you are a very important distraction, the "smiling face" of the...
All Wars Are Bankers' Wars!
I know many people have a great deal of difficulty comprehending just how many wars are started for no other purpose than to force private central banks onto nations, so let me share a few examples, so that you understand why the US Government is mired in so many wars against so many foreign nations. There is ample precedent for this.
Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of a pen...
Why Work Is Turning Into a Nightmare
How would you like to live in an economy where robots do everything that can be predictably programmed in advance, and almost all profits go to the robots' owners?
Meanwhile, human beings do the work that's unpredictable - odd jobs, on-call projects, fetching and fixing, driving and delivering, tiny tasks needed at any and all hours - and patch together barely enough to live on.
Brace yourself. This is the economy we're now barreling toward.
What is the Matrix?
School or prison, depending on your chosen perspective.
On the one hand, it is a hyperdimensional teaching system accelerating your rate of spiritual evolution by providing you with catalytic experiences in response to your thoughts, emotions, and spiritual composition.
On the other hand, many of these experiences manifest as predatory forces preying upon your weaknesses.
Of course, the only way to prevent being manipulated by these forces is to discover, integrate, and transform your weaknesses into strengths, thereby indirectly accomplishing the higher purpose of the Matrix which is to help you transcend it. Nevertheless, these hyperdimensional predatory forces...
The Invention of Money
A Reply to Robert Murphy’s ‘Have Anthropologists Overturned Menger?
By David Graeber, who currently holds the position of Reader in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths University London. Prior to this he was an associate professor of anthropology at Yale University. He is the author of ‘Debt: The First 5,000 Years’ which is available from Amazon
The term – Consensus Trance – was coined by American psychologist Charles T. Tart
An automated state of consciousness; actually, the normal consciousness, based on the premise that people believe what they are told to be true as opposed to what they have themselves realized to be true.
Becoming "normal" – a fully-fledged member of your culture – involves a selected shaping:
Development of approved ("natural", "godly", "polite", "civil") identities and
Inhibition of disapproved ("evil", "criminal", "delinquent", "disrespectful") ones.
While it might be possible to role-play these, without internalizing them, this is difficult for most people.
From a culture's point of view, it is...
The Silver Saga
The incredible collapse of value of silver in the 19th century — don't blame Comstock!
The silver standard did not die a natural death.
It was deliberately killed.
A proper search for the assassins was never carried out.
There was never a post-mortem.
In this paper we focus on the conspiracy as it might have unfolded between the two dates:
April 9, 1865 (the day General Lee of the Confederacy surrendered at Appomattox to General Grant of the Union marking the end of the War Between the States) and
January 1, 1879 (Resumption Day, when payment of the victorious Union’s...
Classified top secret report of the last Bilderberg meeting
My dear contarians, my dear contrarians!
This is a special edition, very special that I propose today. I would like you to understand the real ways of the world, the world in which we live but more likely for very long time.
I reproduce in lines below the exclusive report of the last meeting of Bilderberg, this meeting which is held every year and which attend personalities of very high level of all the countries of the world. It is in this kind of inner circle set that, for decades, shapes the world of tomorrow.
Conspiracy's Longer Timeline
Dominant Social Theme: The state is the answer to our problems and the cradle of our dreams of freedom.
Free-Market Analysis: This is an interesting article, once again, by the Excavator, a university student who runs a blog devoted to exposing the "truth" of the new world order. He has apparently discovered a book written by William Ralph Inge, a professor of divinity at Cambridge and Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, way back in the 1940s. Inge coined a name for the Nazi state – the "Wolf State."
According to Inge (in the Excavator's words), the Wolf State was the bedrock of Nazi Germany, but it...
Obama's Amazingly Consistent Smile
From: Eric Spiegelman
Ladies and gentlemen, Obama is a robot. Or a wax sculpture. Maybe a cardboard cutout. All I know is no human being has a photo smile this amazingly consistent.
In February 2011, the Obamas hosted a reception at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, during which they stood for 130 photographs with visiting foreign dignitaries in town for the UN meeting. The President has exactly the same smile in every single shot. See for yourself — the pictures are up on the State Department’s flickr (link here but appears to be dead link...
By the Numbers
From: ProPublica – by Suevon Lee
The growth of the private detention industry has long been a subject of scrutiny. A recent eight-part series in the New Orleans Times-Picayune chronicled how more than half of Louisiana’s 40,000 inmates are housed in prisons run by sheriffs or private companies as part of a broader financial incentive scheme. The detention business goes beyond just criminal prisoners.
Clock Work Orange meets American Psycho
The United States will protect its people and advance our prosperity irrespective of the actions of any other nation.… - President Barack Obama in National Security Strategy of the US, 2010
The American Empire is not in decline. It is rebooting for a new era of dominance.
The American Empire's success depends on successfully converting the national American psyche into a sociopathic national consciousness (SNC). Once completed, America's empire will be as successful as it is ruthless.
This conversion process is ad hoc and always the consequence of an "outside" event or "crisis" and the fear it engenders. The sociopath, as individual...
Surro-predation and Global Psychosis
THE SOLUTION to collective schizophrenia is the wake-up that happens, one person at a time but with increasing synergy among the awakened, when you begin to detect in any situation that the stated aim is not the actual aim. Global schizophrenia involves a lot of harmless madness and even some playfulness, invention and fabulation, but it has its dark side as well.
The dark side of global schizophrenia is social evil, or the orchestration of social wrong-doing through the 3-D technique: deception-division-domination. What happens in the final phase of Kali Yuga is that a small part of...
The Hidden Evil: The Psychopathic Influence
Both the financial elite and their servants who maintain this system, appear to exhibit behavior that is consistent with symptoms associated with a medical disorder known as psychopathy.(*)
Psychopaths, also called sociopaths, are categorized as those who exhibit superficial charm and intelligence, and are absent of delusions or nervousness. Their traits include:
Deceitful and manipulative behavior (either goal-oriented or for the delight of the act itself)
Lack of remorse or shame
Poor judgment and failure to learn by experience
Incapacity for love
Poverty of general emotions
Loss of insight
The Work 'Ethic'
Reconsidering work and 'leisure time'
Did you ever wonder why your parents act so disoriented when it comes to 'leisure' activities? Why they start one little hobby, and either fail to follow through with it or become pathologically obsessed with it... even though it doesn't seem to have anything to do with their lives?
Maybe they seek to lose themselves in gardening or following the exploits of some basketball team. Maybe your father buys all sorts of fancy tools (the kind of tools many men his age have), but only uses them for a few days before setting them aside —...
China's red royalty
A GlobalPost infographic charts the children of China's political elite.
HONG KONG — They are referred to as "princelings" for a reason — mainly because these children of Communist leaders are resented by many in China, and elsewhere, for the privileges they receive as a birthright. What they do with these privileges is what determines how the headlines about them are worded.
The Psychopathology of Work
Depersonalization and alienation from our deepest desires is implanted during childhood via school, church, movies, and TV, and soon reaches the point where an individual's desire is not only a net of contradictions, but also a commodity like all the others.
Work, now? Never,never. I'm on strike.—Arthur Rimbaud
"True life" always seems to be just a bit beyond what a weekly paycheck and credit card can afford, and is thus indefinitely postponed. And each postponement contributes to the reproduction of a social system that practically everyone who is not a multimillionaire or a masochist has come to loathe.
Beautiful and Absolutely Hideous Pharmaceutical Factory
Sixth Pharm Factory went viral on Chinese internet, showing Versailles-style furnishings and domes and hallways decorated with gold-plated woodcarving.
The state-owned company was soon met with a barrage of online criticism for its extravagance and waste of public funds. However, a person in charge, while acknowledging the building as theirs, argued that those rooms are not used as offices; instead, they are exhibition rooms of a museum they have built to house woodblock prints.

A Blow to Prisoners' Rights
From: Counterpunch – by Kenneth E. Hartman – August 18. 2011
In a decision setting back prisoners' rights and helping to advance the interests of prison bureaucrats and their guard union allies, Facebook announced plans to work with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to shut down pages set up for prisoners. Spokespersons for the Department claimed that prisoners were using their Facebook pages to "stalk victims" and "conduct illegal activities," and that this was all related to the increased incidence of cell phones found inside the prisons.
What a load of crap!
Why China is likely to end in disorderly economic collapse
There is a crisis of confidence unfolding in China that is likely to end in a full scale capital flight and a disorderly collapse in both economic and political cohesiveness. The lowering of the reserve requirements for Chinese banks, while reported in the media as a loosening of credit, is more likely an early sign of capital flight. Similarly reflective of this, are the large increases of gold purchases by Chinese citizens who have few diversification options away from the RMB.
The decline and fall of work
In an industrial society which confuses work and productivity, the necessity of producing has always been an enemy of the desire to create.
What spark of humanity, of possible creativity, can remain alive in a being dragged out of sleep at six every morning, jolted about in suburban trains, deafened by the racket of machinery, bleached and steamed by meaningless sounds and gestures, spun dry by statistical controls, and tossed out at the end of the day into the entrance halls of railway stations, those cathedrals of departure for the hell of weekdays and the purgatory...
The Cult of the Job
On The Leisure Track
I am job-free. Out of the rat race. Unemployed, as they say, but definitely by choice. My self-esteem is intact, thank you, I'm not "in transition", and I have no intention of getting a job again.
That's right – I'm on the leisure track permanently. I don't have a cushy nine-to-five job with profit-sharing, "security", stock options, health insurance, advancement opportunities, or free parking.
More Time for Leisure
In praise of the national dividend
In their paper “Major Douglas’ Proposals for a National Dividend: A Logical Successor to the Wage” Brian Burkitt and Frances Hutchinson defend Major C.H. Douglas’ idea of a national dividend.
Conventional economies are based on the exponential growth in production from technological change, which with labour-saving inevitably leads to unemployment. To counter this, Douglas proposed placing “every citizen on a level economic playing-field” with a proposal “derived from the view that all social production originates in a common cultural inheritance of past invention, with present individual effort playing a secondary role”.
In doing this...
The Prisoner Hunger Strike
From: Global Research – by Li Onesto – August 8, 2011 – Revolution #242
Prisoners in the Security Housing Unit (SHU) in California’s Pelican Bay State Prison led a three-week hunger strike, from July 1 to July 20, demanding an end to the barbaric, inhumane conditions of solitary confinement.
Destined to Collapse
Several years after the Wall Street-ignited crisis began, the nation’s top bank CEOs (who far out-accumulated their European and other international counterparts) continue to hobnob with the president at campaign dinners where each plate costs more than one out of four US households make in a year. Financial bigwigs lead their affluent lives, unaffected, unremorseful, and unindicted for wreaking havoc on the nation. Why? Because they won. They hustled better. They are living the American Dream.
This is not the American Dream that says if you work hard you can be more comfortable than your parents; but rather, if...
Among 100 government officials, 101 of them are corrupt
While I usually refrain myself from making comments on the political aspects of China, I can’t help but to reflect on the recent dramatic purging of Bo Xilai.
While I am not going to make any economic point regarding the short-term impact of the purging (because there is none, and there are probably better things to be worried about), I do want to talk a little bit about some deeper issues that is very widespread, yet hardly ever mentioned within any economic discussions (and indeed, even I have had this in mind for...
Are You The Next Prisoner?
From: Whiskey and Gunpowder
The United States is home to a gigantic socialist sector, larger and with a greater reach than any in the world, and it is fed by tax dollars and managed entirely by the government. Strangely, the opponents of socialized medicine and socialized industry don’t complain about it. In fact, all throughout the 1980s and 1990s, they urged its expansion.
China's Leadership Structure and Transition
China's Leadership Structure and Transition
ith attention focused on China’s leadership transition due to an unusually large number of positions up for grabs and Bo Xilai’s dismissal from his communist party posts, the US-China Business Council recently released a report outlining China’s leadership structure and transition.W
China’s 18th Party Congress, scheduled for this fall, marks the beginning of a large turnover of China’s top government and communist party leadership.
Macroeconomics of Chinese kleptocracy
China is a kleptocracy of a scale never seen before in human history. This post aims to explain how this wave of theft is financed, what makes it sustainable and what will make it fail. There are several China experts I have chatted with – and many of the ideas are not original. The synthesis however is mine. Some sources do not want to be quoted.
The macroeconomic effects of the Chinese kleptocracy and the massive fixed-currency crisis in Europe are the dominant macroeconomic drivers of the global economy. As I am trying a comprehensive explanation for much...
The Abolition of Work
No one should ever work.
Work is the source of nearly all the misery in the world.
Almost any evil you'd care to name comes from working or from living in a world designed for work.
In order to stop suffering, we have to stop working.
That doesn't mean we have to stop doing things. It does mean creating a new way of life based on play. In other words, a *ludic* conviviality, commensality, and maybe even art.
There is more to play than child's play, as worthy as that is. I call for a collective adventure in generalized joy and freely interdependent exuberance.
Play isn't passive...
The Pentagon and Slave Labor in U.S. Prisons
From: Global Research – by Sara Flounders
Prisoners earning 23 cents an hour in U.S. federal prisons are manufacturing high-tech electronic components for Patriot Advanced Capability 3 missiles, launchers for TOW (Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided) anti-tank missiles, and other guided missile systems. A March article by journalist and financial researcher Justin Rohrlich of World in Review is worth a closer look at the full implications of this ominous development.
CIA Project MK-ULTRA
The United States government funded and performed countless psychological experiments on unwitting humans, especially during the Cold War era, perhaps partially to help develop more effective torture and interrogation techniques for the US military and the CIA, but the almost unbelieveable extent, range and duration of these activities far surpassed possible interrogation applications and appear to have been performed from a fundamental monstrous inhumanity. To simply read summaries of these, even without the details, is almost traumatising in itself.
